Building Construction

The Ductile Iron Piling System (DIPS) stands out for its use of 100% recycled ductile iron in every element, from the load transfer plate all the way to the pile shoe.

As its name suggests, ductile iron is highly ductile, with mechanical characteristics that rival steel, making it exceptionally resistant to impact and corrosion.

Additionally, the our pile holds a CE Marking, guaranteeing consistently high quality in every piece.

Certified and tested system

  • Quality tested to EN standards, ISO 9001 certification
  • Quality tested to ETA-07/0169 (CE marking)
  • Quality tested to ÖNORM B2567 (Austrian standard)
  • Corrosion resistance

Ductile iron stands out for its higher corrosion resistance compared to steel, a result of its higher carbon and silicon levels, along with the naturally occurring annealing skin created during manufacturing.

  • Recycled product

We produce our raw iron using only recycled materials, such as sheet metal packages, sorted steel scrap, and other circular materials. This makes the ductile iron pile a classic example of a recycled product that is both sustainable and resource-efficient.

  • Recycled product

The addition of magnesium to the iron and the use of a heat treatment process give ductile iron both high ductility and strength. As a result, the piles can be safely driven into the ground using powerful hydraulic hammers without risking damage.
